If you are over 40, you might remember Maybelline's Dial-A-Lash Mascara. A little nostalgia. Click to read.

I've tried a LOT of mascaras over the years and at this point I'm pretty well set with CHANEL's Le Volume Mascara (waterproof) and the CHANEL Beaute Des Cils Nourishing Mascara Base. Other mascaras flake and transfer onto my undereye area throughout the day, but CHANEL's has never done that to me. However, I was recently given samples of a couple other mascaras and have been using them here and there, depending on my mood. It got me thinking about mascaras, and for some reason I remembered a mascara from years past: Maybelline's Dial-A-Lash.

Do you remember Dial-A-Lash? You could set how thick you wanted your lashes to be via the handy dial that ranged between 1 and 10 (with 10 being the thickest lash setting). I honestly don't remember how well it performed, but I do remember being very excited about it as a teenager and eagerly anticipating buying it. I also remember always setting the dial to 10. I mean, the point was to get think, gorgeous lashes, so why set the dial to anything but a 10?

Did you use Dial-A-Lash? What do you remember about it?
